About Housing Authority of Grant County

The Housing Authority recently earned recognition from the Washington State Housing Finance Commission by receiving a Friend of Housing Award, and has also won regional and national awards from the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. The Housing Authority was the first public agency to install solar electric panels on its projects and by partnering with Eco Depot, an environmental firm in Spokane, now produces 23,000 watts of sun-generated electricity.
The agency continues to provide new affordable housing opportunities in order to meet local need. Construction is done on our most recent development, Purple Sage Apartments, which was fully funded by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission and the Department of Commerce. The development has resulted in 16 new apartment units in Ephrata and 8 in Quincy.
